PWHT Questions

Hello,

Now i am facing a trouble to find the answers of the following questions

1. During PWHT of tank nozzles when we increased the heating and cooling rate what will happen?

2 During PWHT when we slow down the heating & cooling rate what will happen?

Please give me the answers

A1) There are risks of increasing the occurrence of brittle fracture owing to inadequate time for the weld metal to normalise relative to the base metal.

A2) The job will take longer.

A1) Possible bad things...

A2) No bad things..... longer coffee break.

Do you understand why a PWHT is performed on a welded joint ?

Do you understand what a PWHT really is ?
