The ones that are on the Commissioning Test Schedule document, which needs to be approved and to hand before the tests are commenced.

The tests would depend on the location of the equipment.

This is an intergalactic forum, so LOCATION IS IMPORTANT.

If you want general guidance, visit the InterNational Electrical Testing Association web site http://www.netaworld.org/ and purchase a copy of their latest NETA Acceptance Test Specification. It gives recommended and optional tests for all sorts of electrical apparatus - transformers, circuit breakers, generators, cables, etc.

We send in a graduate engineer with a stick to flick on the main breaker the first time while the rest of us wait behind the wall with fire extinguishers.

.........

Obviously this is a joke, the stick we give the graduate is long enough to reach the breaker panel while he/she is also protected by a wall. SAFETY PEOPLE!

Jack - Disreagard all of the above.

Based on your previous posts perhaps you would do better to ask your companies employed engineers instead of us to help further your interest in the engineering field you are interested in but not qualified to work in.
