What is the selection of any gear in hot/cold rolling mill ?????

Seriously

You claim to be a project engineer and you have no idea how to select a gear. I think your primary problem is that you obviously do not know how to identify any critical information for gear selection. I'll give you a big hint here. Gear selection starts with knowing what machine the gear will be part of, not the industry that the machine will be part of.
