Motor Undercurrent

why do we need undercurrent protection (ANSI 37) in the industrial induction motors.what are the recommended rule of thumb tripping values for undercurrent protection?

Really coolyaar you seem to be using this site as your own personal search engine...What do you think Google is for? Type your questions into Google and do some reading, this will give you a broader scope of information....This is more of a problem solving website than just an information provider, that's what Google and other search engines are for....and just use the search engine here on Cr4 to read topics related to the area you are studying as supplemental information....
