OMNI Flow Computer

06/16/2012 7:40 AM

Please, i have a problem with the display unit.

The Basic operator's panel screen goes off after some hours, and as soon as this happens, it deactivates the buttons, but the digital displays are still visible and when i put off power to it and put it back on, the buttons respond, but after some hours it repeats again.

What are the causes or probable causes of this?

The Basic operator's panel screen has developed a defect. It is time to replace it.

Could be a corrupted program. Try to reinitialize it.

so here we go
donno if it's your case but back (10+y) at my "production monitoring" service tech. times there was set of rules to follow
(!) -- do not switch off (for longer periods (night/weekends)) prod.eq. (in prd.floor)
(1) -- do not use MS Win (any ver.) in the data flow structure.
(2) -- when violated (client demands (budget e.c.))
(2.1) -- do not use "unverified configurations/hardware"
(2.2) -- do not use NRG-/screen savers /Gizmos of any kind
(2.3) -- the Comm stuff (witch can't be the case here)
. . .

I'm not sure what you mean by

>the Comm stuff (which can't be the case here)

communications?

What sort of communications?

What would be the desired action with the Comm stuff?
