sir, iam working as junior engineer in j&k powwer development deptt. For sometime a earth fault is coming on the lines and the lines is tripped, now the problem is that after fault the lines is charged and when the load is reached up to 120 Amp. the earth fault is coming on the lines.The CTs ratio are 800-400-200/1A connected at 400/1A .The over current setting are at 75% ( 300A) & earth fault setting is at 20%(80A).Also on one circuit the current on phase B show zero, but when the circuit 1&2 are operating the current on circuit 2 B phase show double the current on other phase.please tell me what is the problem, is there problem on the transmission lines or in the CT circuit.
