Freeing Energy From The Grid ~ and More

I saw this, to me, mind-blowing talk on Ted by Justin Hall-Tipping. It took a while to find it but here it is:

It does sound as though they are breaking the laws of the universe though, photons to electrons.

Well photons to electrons is a pv cell, nothing new in that concept...He is more about what will be possible in the future with what we know now about nanoscale technology, and approaching the quantum world of weirdness...
