I am staying at 2nd floor & my water tank is above my floor (it's a 2 story building), the building owner has installed PVC/plastic pipes, the ground & first floor has a proper water pressure & flow, but my house on 2nd floor has a problem about the water pressure flow. I understand it is due to the water head that is not enough as hight difference is not much.
While complaining to the owner installed a water pressure pump (some Chinese) water pressure increased but it bursted the pipe of neighbour's house & in a house on a ground floor, so again they reduce the pressure but its a problem for me since the pressure dropped. Also water shower & water heater connection joints are of small diameter & the pipes generally used are 3/4" dia. For supply all along & due to lack of diff. in hight & this dia. difference the flow & pressure is not adequate.
I tried myself changing pressure but could not succeed, as there are 2 screw with spring are there, one is longer & another is smaller, both screws are with springs & nuts, I am not very sure but those are I believe to differentiate the pressure, correct me if I am wrong, I could not see any solenoid valve/switch or something which can activate the pump on & off if the water flow start/ stops, & yes the pump is running continuously & the gauge is showing 0 currently which was showing pressure initially when installed first time before pipe burst.
I need to know what needs to be done to get enough pressure in the shower, & also other's pipes should not burst like before. There are 4 plastic 1000 ltr. each tanks installed & all are interconnected at bottom with each other so to have equal water level & supply could be offered to every flats.
Apart from adjusting the pressure in the water pressure pump if there are any other ideas i could apply (cost effective) pls. suggest accordingly.
Thanking you all in anticipation towards a solution in advance.
Thanks & regards.
