Cable Lay

Hi All,

I am looking for cable laying compound to prevent the othersheath damage, any brand of compound?

Specifically, (wire) pulling soap. Slang term is 'boy butter."

The guys have given you information for installing cable in conduit. Your post says cable laying as in a trench. Is it conduit or a trench?

Its not on unusual on sites to see red cement. This is a very weak mix of sand and cement which can just about be broken out your hands. Its either painted red or has red mixed in with it. The first time I saw it my first thoughts which muppet would cement cables that would need a machine to either remove them or add to them. The mix is not much stronger than sand.
