Where Can I Find Schematics for a SAS 1000 Terrameter?

08/10/2012 5:30 PM

I think it's pretty much the same electronic diagram as for the SAS 4000 - they are both from Abem and work pretty much the same way. I've really searched but haven't been able to find it anywhere. My device is losing voltage on some cable and won't start unless it gets enough volts.

Well, I would telephone Abem in Sundbyberg in Sweden, and ask them for one. Then, I'm funny that way.

They're out to lunch right now. You'll need to call back in an hour.

SInce they sell black boxes, with a few $$ worth of parts for $20,000 or so, I expect they do not give them out. If you ask, they will tell you to send it back for repairs, $3000 or so is my guess? You can but ask?

I expect they will never ever let a schematic our and they may have potted it internally to stop reverse engineering.

Have you opened it up to look inside yet?

Are you saying that the batteries are not holding their charge?
