Faster Than Sound On Land?

They just tested the engine - seems to be running.

Is there a limit to ground speed. Is super sonic really achievable or are the challenges to high?

What are your thoughts?

Does it run on water?

The sonic boom wave ("bow wave") might reflect off the ground and affect the vehicle's stability. (Just a guess.)

How the heck are they going to overcome the ground effects at the projected speed? They must keep it on the ground otherwise I see a crash & burn scenario occurring.

Looking at the profile pic of the vehicle I don't see any spoilers etc to keep it planted on Terra Firma!

I see a crash and burn scenario in any case.
