The name or different manufacturer maybe. But is there a functional difference?

Transfer is to transfer towards another system and swich might mean to switch between systems?

Plz check weather my ans is correct or not:

ATS is having contactor and Relay for operation rather in ACOS is not available.

ACOS is having 220V motor for operation rather in ATS is not available.

If you already know, then why ask the question?

It depends on the mode of operation too-viz. break one and make other or synchronise both and switch off one.

There is no difference.

In Europe, it is called Change-over switch, while in North America, it is Transfer switch.

Transfer may mean "smoothly no-break transfer of source"
