Communication Between Two Control System

09/16/2013 4:23 AM

In one application there will be a new PLC system (for new facilities) that shall be connected to existing FOXBORO system in order to allow the operator to monitor and take the safety action for the new facilities .

what is the best way to perform this communication between the two system especially the distance between the two system is about 8 KM

thanks

CONTACT THE EQUIPMENT SUPPLIERS WHO ACTUALLY HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH THE EQUIPMENT AT HAND.

OR, HIRE AN INSTRUMENT TECH WHO CAN DO THE WORK WITHOUT THE HELP OF TOATL STRANGERS, WHO PROBABLY HAVE NEVER TREID TO DO WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO DO AND WOULD JUST BE GUESSING.

Post the operator's manuals of both systems here, so we can at least read the documents that you have in your possession!!!
