Fiberglass cars from the Fifties not only depend thrive on provenance, they depend on it. Without a known history, they tend to be just an assemblage of miscellaneous parts and questionable fiberglass repair - interesting, and full of potential, but often overlooked by high-end collectors. With a known history, however, they take on a certain cachet reserved for race cars and limited production specials. This 1957 Devin Specialfor sale on Hemmings.com falls into that latter category.
