Hemmings Motor News Blog

Hemmings Motor News has been around since 1954. We're proud of our heritage, but we're also more than the Hemmings full of classifieds that your father subscribed to. Aside from new editorial content every month in Hemmings, we have three monthly magazines: Hemmings Muscle Machines, Hemmings Classic Car and Hemmings Sports and Exotic Car.

While our editors traverse the country to find the best content for those magazines, we find other oddities related to the old-car hobby that we really had no place for - until now. With this blog, we're giving you a behind-the-scenes look at what we see and what we do during the course of putting out some of the finest automotive magazines you'll ever read.

Listen up! Because of budget cuts this year, the school board decided to cut Mr. Andrews's position and sell off all the shop class equipment. But for some reason, they didn't think to transfer the lot of you to other classes for this period, so until they get around to editing your schedules, I get to keep you in line. I suggested they at least let you do an oil change on my wife's car, but they also canceled the insurance policy for shop class, too. So we're left with these videos they found while cleaning Mr. Andrews's desk. I'm going to assume these are safe to show a bunch of sophomores.

First up, I see some of you riding around on those little Hondas, thinking you're cool. Cool doesn't matter if you're wrapped around some car's axle, so pay attention to the safety stuff here.
