NASA Spots Lunar Explosion

NASA scientists have witnessed a rare explosion on the Moon, caused by the impact of a "meteoroid". The lunar blast was equal in energy to about 70 kg of TNT and was seen near the edge of Mare Imbrium, the Sea of Rains.
