What's the difference on the material between SKF TIMKEN NSK & China brand bearings - HRB, LYC, ZWZ?

08/28/2019 10:28 PM

Some of the rawmaterial is from their local, some of SKF TIMKEN NSK rawmaterial is from China. In China, there is few factories gets different relationship with these famous brand corporation. When these famous world brand corporation got the material, they shall keep going on the next step, heating treatment, annealing... after that, its quality will be perfect as same as we see it in the market. We think the key point is on the heating treatment and annealing, is this right?

Inside WXMK bearing, we have the full process for heating treatment and annealing, we're now keep going on the way towards SKF TIMKEN NSK, it will be a long way but we will not stop.

Forgive my poor English.

Different grades of steel have different chemical composition...heat treating and annealing will only work if it is matched to the proper chemical composition to attain the qualities desired...also the purity of the steel and components is important, contaminants can ruin the quality...This means you must have stringent quality control from suppliers of all your materials as well as testing and quality control at the foundry...So the quality of the bearing is dependent on the quality of the supply stream at each step of the way...this is a problem in China...

Thanks for your quickly answer, I can't operate English language fluently like you, but I can understand what you said, it is quite professional. Anyway, this is a place for me to study bearing knowledge, thanks, Sir.

I used to work for NTN Toyo, company formally known as Federal Mogul, in Hamilton Alabama, our Steels, some came from China and some did not, but the Heat treatment, and our finishing requirements were set to the factory standards of the company which we were working with at that time one of which wad Ford motor company and Case. Basically all bearings go through standard test before being boxed and sold. the grade of the bearing is labeled onto each as well as the enclosure type.
