SuitSat is Still Broadcasting

SuitSat, the retired spacesuit outfitted with communications equipment that was pushed out of the International Space Station (ISS) on Friday, Feb 3rd. NASA reported that stopped sending its message in the middle of the afternoon on Saturday (EST), but US amateur radio operators still claim to be receiving signals. According to NASA, the extreme cold of space weakened the batteries powering SuitSat's communications more quickly than anticipated.
