Look back a ways in these threads. Someone asked the identical question a few days ago, and got some informative replies.

Of course, if things are subjective, then what 180 amp-hours means to me might be different from what it means to you. However, technical terms are not usually viewed as mere subjectivisms.

This is your third post on this subject.

The amp-hour rating of a battery of cells is the total energy that the battery can supply for 20 hours at a constant rate of discharge before the voltage of the individual cells drops to 1.75 volts. That's 10.5 volts for a 12-volt battery.

Baffled you really have me baffled. Perhaps it would be worth you reading some of the replies on this subject so that you might learn something. Perhaps the OP is posting numerous times just to ensure that Baffled is not so baffled by this subject.

180 AH mean ,if we put 1A load on a 180 Ah battery we can get 180 hr back up from this battery

Let me also add some information for you:

Batteries rated by amp hour (AH) capacity. The capacity is based on the amount of power needed to operate the loads and how many days of stored power will be needed due to weather conditions. Using a water analogy, you can think of a battery as a bucket the stored energy water and the AH capacity as the bucket size. The AH rating will tell " how large your bucket is "
Most battery manufacturers specify battery capacity in ampere hours. In theory, a 100 AH battery will deliver one amp for 100 hours or roughly two amps for 50 hours before the battery is considered fully discharged.
Two 100 amp hour 12 volt batteries wired in parallel provide 200 ampere hours at 12 volts. Higher votlages are ovtained through series wiring. T100 ampere hour 12 volt batteries in seres provide 100 amp hours at 24 volts.

Many factors can affect battery capacity, including rate of discharge, depth of discharge, temperature, age and recharging characteristic. Fundamentally the required capacity is also affected by the sie of the load. If the load is reduced the required battery capacity is also reduced.

The rate at which the batter is discharged directly affects its capacity. If a battery is dischareged quickly less capacity is available. Conversely, a battery that is dischraged slowly will have a greater capacity. For example , a six volt battery may have a 180 AH capacity if discharged over 24 hrs. However if the same battery is discharged over 72 hrs it will have a 192 AH capacity.

Battery rating (capacity) =180 AH

Battery capacity in ampere hour.

in normal condition ,dc current of 180 ampere for one hour.

it is product of load current x time (for which it can supply)

I think that its a stupid guest (which ones aren't?) who can never find his posts/questions.

So not being too bright and forgetting what the question was before, which would allow him to search ALL of CR4 to find it, he simply posts/question (and forgets?) again and again.....
