NASA plans a competition this fall to select a new vehicle for carrying crews to the International Space Station. Transformational Space (t/Space), along with several other aerospace companies, have been chosen to develop concepts for the next generation of NASA vehicles. Last week, a drop test article (DTA) from t/Space was carried three miles offshore by a Sikorsky S-61 helicopter and released from 9,600 feet. Although the test results were mixed, t/Space is optimistic about its recent successes in the Mojave desert.
