Utilization of My Degree of Btech in Mechanical

I'm a girl studying 2nd year btech with mechanical engineering from a pvt college... I've a huge knack for cars(automobiles)... I want some advices for the approach to own my dream jobs... Should I prepare for GATE? I find most people saying, it's not a branch for women,but I really want to make a career out of it.

You might be interested in some of the articles here.

Your chances may depend on how rigid the local customs are regarding roles for men and women, and whether you can find open-minded mentors.

If you develop a solid technical background, especially in emerging technologies such as electrical and hybrid, this would likely increase your chances for success. Best of luck!

It's difficult to say, as customs, traditions and practices vary from location to location.

Women are in the minority here on CR4; whatever happens, a blog on developments here would be of great interest.
