I agree. The site now looks like a color poster that's been out in the sun too long. Bleached and, quite frankly, bland. None of its old personality. Sterile and bereft of character. The new font? Helvetica? C'mon, guys, we can do better than a circa 1970s Kroy label-maker.

I wanted to give it a chance, in the meantime while i yell at the neighbor kid to stop skateboarding on the side walk.

But in a more serious manner, I have to agree, I think what bothers me the most in the color choices is just that, the contrast between background and text is not that intense, maybe a little darker blue?

The best advice I can give you is to scroll down a few inches. Remember, it's not the wrapping that counts. ;)

Tell that to an architect, a stylist, an auto-body designer, any Lamborghini/Ferrari/Bugatti/Lotus/Porsche owner, a fashion designer, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. If any part of a design should be ignored, then something is plainly wrong with the design.

That's all I do. I don't see it as a big deal.

My beef is with the slow loading pages, which I think has to do with the social networking links, (which nobody ever seems to use).

Every page that features a Facebook or Twitter icon, not just here, but anywhere? Every time you visit a page featuring these icons, their owners get notified of your visit. You don't even have to be a member for them to know your browsing history in detail. If later you sign up to one of these social networks, they already know a great deal about you! Firefox has a browser extension that blocks Twitter notifications, but I haven't seen any yet for the others.

I just assume that I'm always being tracked and watched while on the internet. It's probably a pretty safe bet.

I'm beginning to think that FB makes their money by selling my info to anyone that wants it.

CR4 is now owned by IHS. IHS uses a blue branding scheme across all of its sites.

I've been away for a while and when I logged in I thought that I had made a wrong turn. It looks like a counterfit. The life has been stolen from the site without the color. seems too... industrial.
