The building's fire insurers will advise. It's only a phone call.

A paid consultant will advise and assure you that his answers are acceptable to the entities PWSlack mentions above. A paid consultant has a reputation to protect.

Free advice isn't worth much. It isn't worth anything to the entities PWSlack mentions above.

There sure seem to be a lot of questions related to code requirements lately, and, looking back at your previous posts, you seem to have quite a few.

1. All government laws, rules, regulations, etc. must be met that apply for that jurisdiction - off-shore very likely will have differing governing authority from on-shore. Even if there is no code enforcement, you still must meet those laws.

2. Client requirements that may be more stringent than those in 1. This would include such things as additional protection required by their insurer.

3. If you live in an area with no relevant laws, you should still abide by some code. After all, most codes came about to prevent recurrence of some accident or damage. In this case, I would discuss with my company's higher management.

Thanks for that.

This guy's a fraud.

One can only hope that he's just a lazy student and not really in the fire suppression business.
