Meteorological Mission

NASA plans to fill gaps in atmospheric and meteorological data using three drones donated by the U.S. Air Force. Retrofits of unmanned Global Hawks, capable of 30 hours of autonomous flight, will monitor climate conditions at finer regional resolutions than satellites. What other peaceful missions can unmanned aerial vehicles be used for?

Wildlife assays, border protection (what do you mean by "peaceful" I wonder), traffic analysis. Hey, how about a high-bandwidth wifi on your Global Hawk (or balloon)?
