Permanent Changes In Energy Use?

Posted July 14, 2010 12:39 PM

Energy efficiency is becoming an important factor in materials handling — energy efficient lighting for distribution centers, motors and drives that energize only as needed to move products, and fuel cell powered vehicles. Will that disaster accelerate the efficiency trend in material handling? Will it lead to permanent changes or will we let up as the crisis fades from immediate attention.

Yes, it will do all of those.

Why do people think, particularly with blog postings, that we will all do only one thing. Some of us will do one thing while others will do another. Some won't even think about what they are doing but those that do think will be convinced that they are choosing the right path for themselves.
