A Big Hello

Hello all:

I'm taking this time to officially extend my thanks to all those faithful readers of the Globalspec Building and Construction Newsletter. I strongly encourage you to join the blog with any kind of construction or architectural-related information, stories, memories, advice, product info, etc. that tickles your fancy. In the next few days I'll be submitting a blog or two about my own personal memories of spending a lifetime in the construction and building trade. At 42 years old, I've been in the business for 37 years. How's this possible? you ask. At five years old I assisted my father with laying out the foundations to a new church in Cohoes, New York. I recall the cold metallic feel of that tape measure in my hand like it was yesterday.
