It's no coincidence that the new George Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in
Chicago looks like something from out of this world. After all, the
namesake film director has brought us some of the most thrilling
blockbusters in the history of modern cinema, including the Star Wars
saga. Now, Lucas has brought together not a team of writers or actors,
but architects to create the world's first museum dedicated to the art
of telling a story on film, from illustrations to digital video.
Initially designed with tall, angular, glass and metal entries which
contrast with rounded, bubble-like building spaces, the new museum will
premier later this year.
