Plastic Battery Harnesses Electricity

Conventional wisdom: metal conducts electricity. New-found wisdom: plastic does too. Or rather, polypyrrole, which Brown University scientists have discovered serves as an ideal base for a battery-capacitor hybrid. The polymer-based battery offers power exceeding that of a standard alkaline battery, while also storing more than twice the amount of an electric double-layer capacitor. The technology is bound to hit the consumer electronics industry, as well as any other markets requiring efficient delivery of electricity.

i click on battery-capacitor hybrid and it just wont go. another way ?
