Taking AIM at RFID

The public perception of radio frequency identification (RFID) technologies could use a boost according to AIM Global, an international industry association and advocate for the growth of in automatic identification. For that reason, the group has launched an initiative in the U.S. to educate the general public and policy makers about the consumer benefits of RFID technologies while dispelling certain myths and misperceptions.

Quite frankly, I shudder to think of al the potentially evil uses governments could force on the public with this seemingly benign technology.
