Engineering360: "Prevent Siloxanes from Degrading Air Quality Sensor Performance"

I am curious about your discovery and wanted to know if the degradation was from standard siloxanes or a harsher type?

For example, an HDD manufacturer states they check for Non Volatile Siloxanes (NVS)in order to prevent degradation but the NVS is different from a standard siloxane as the standard siloxane(s) are not the true culprit in any ill performance or degradation.
