The most positive development would be to throw all that stuff in the trash E-waste recycling and put parents back in charge of raising children.

My personal belief is that kids, even two year old toddlers are spending W - A - A - Y too much time with portable electronics. My fear is that parents are abdicating their parental duties to these electronic pacifiers. It used to be the boob tube in the old days. The problem with portable electronics is that they are PORTABLE. You can't go anywhere in public and not see the youngsters and oldsters totally engrossed in their electronics, utterly oblivious to the world around them. We are dooming our future generations to becoming functional idiots. For that matter there are too many people in even my generation afflicted with this disease. It's a crying shame.
