Photochromic glass darkens with light stimulation and does so without electricity, hence the prefix 'photo.'

Electrochromic glass requires electricity to darken and lighten, hence the prefix 'electro'.

But then in the article we see in the context of electrochromic glass, "monomers react more quickly to light stimulation." What are you actually saying here, that this new resin-based glass is both photochromic and electrochromic?
