Electronics360: "No One Is Using Smart Speakers for Home Automation, Survey Says"

This kind of cracks me up because as wonderful as home automation has become, just how lazy are we? The proof in the pudding was when I saw the ad with the woman walking around her home controlling all sorts of things and when she told it to start the washing machine, it wasn't IoT controlled. Of course, she goes out and buys one that does and then literally stands in front of the washer and told the smart speaker to start the laundry. Really?
