Seriously? A crisis?

The trouble is that those on a crusade feel the need to exaggerate the severity of whatever the situation is to try to get people to act on "fill in the blank here" crusade.

When everything that happens in this world is a crisis, nothing is a crisis.

I'm not saying that there isn't a problem here. Obviously there is in someone's mind. But the public is getting numb to the shrill cries.
