I doubt it.

Self-employed are probably least likely to be displaced. Self-employed people generally fill niches that are not easily filled by typical companies. I believe someone wrote their MBA paper on this topic, picked a hypothesis and then only reported on the data that supported their hypothesis.

I wish I could be been on the panel for the orals, that would have been fun.
