Pressurized water indicates this would be a thermal nuclear plant. There are today much better designs. A plant using fast neutrons, instead of thermal neutrons, does not have to be pressurized; in addition, it is much more efficient in fuel use and can use multiple kinds of fuel. It has less waste in both volume and amount of radioactivity. There are several designs of fast reactor, and all would be better, safer, than the thermal reactor.

In the current political - technical climate, the safety of power generation technology should come first.
Every technology must live with its accumulated safety record.
Light Water Reactors enjoy an excellent overall safety record over the last 60 years.
Sodium Cooled Fast Reactors using chemically reactive molten Sodium Metal as a coolant have a mediocre BAD safety record historically as approximately half of the SFR reactors built to date have had to cease operation decades before designed end-of-life as the result of a safety accident or safety incident.
The case for not building large numbers of Sodium Cooled Fast Reactors
