As for me, there is an unclear information in mentioned article.

In the text part there is a note that R2 = 100Ω, hovewer in the schematic R2 = 10kΩ.

What is the correct one?.

For sure, mentioned DIY device, will works for both of them R2=100Ω or 10kΩ. Just time constant will be different ( RC“corner” frequency).
