I'll start from the end: THE BURDEN OF PROOF IS ON THE SAFETY OF ANY TECHNOLOGY! SAFETY MUST BE PROVEN BEFORE EXPOSING THE PUBLIC TO IT! (we cannot rely on "not proven unsafe" when it comes to public safety) The author emphasizes the fact that non ionizing radiation doesn't heat tissues, but there is a complete omission of the many researches and studies showing the a-thermic effects of such radiation, especially in chronic exposure, especially using pulses, (as 5G technology does), and at levels permitted by current standards. Focusing only on one or two effects of any technology, (tissue heating and cancer in this case) can lead to the erroneous conclusion that such tech is safe, when there is in fact a reasonable cause to doubt that safety. There is a sufficient body of evidence which shows that tissue heating and cancer are hardly the only two effects that electromagnetic radiation, ionizing or not, has on the human body, or on other animals, and possibly plants and bacteria, which ultimately have an impact on our environment, and on our health and quality of life. In addition, most research on mm waves was done by the military, and is therefore classified, and unavailable, even to the regulating bodies. On the other hand, we know that 5G frequencies are used by the military and law enforcement agencies for crowd control, and that just in the last two years, two patent applications were submitted for pesticides, based on mm wave technologies... which suggests that those frequencies have an actual effect on the health of living beings, to the point of eliminating them! When it comes to our health and safety, it's better to be safe than sorry. WE MUST PROVE THE SAFETY OF THE TECHNOLOGY BEFORE EXPOSING THE PUBLIC TO IT. We cannot rely on "not proven unsafe", or "correlation at best" claims. This is why thousands of scientists and doctors have signed a petition to the UN, calling to suspend 5g rollout globally, until a definitive proof of the technology's safety is established, (or the opposite). Many countries, states, and municipalities, have already suspended 5G rollout locally. My personal belief is that erring on the side of caution is much better than the alternative!
