This is a good idea. Make it better by using round lenses that would give a method to correct for any rotational deformity in the eye.

Both my eyes are acceptable after the GRAVES Disease deformed the back of my eyes. One eye is approximately 30 degrees rotated clockwise. Your design would be wonderful for people like me.
