As I have been saying, fuel cell cars are the cars of the future. Five-minute fill-up! Just think, photons coming from the sun (and they will be available for a long, long time), the photons hit the solar panel, and some are converted to an electrical current. This current goes over to an electrolyzer and busts up the water molecule into hydrogen and oxygen. The hydrogen goes over to the fuel cell and the fuel cell puts the hydrogen and oxygen back together again producing electricity! And, if you get some extra solar panels and a bigger electrolyzer, you can make enough hydrogen to power your car! This system of electrical power for the individual will eventually replace the electrical power from power plants. The fusion power plants (if fusion power is ever realized) will probably produce electricity cheaper than the solar panels. But they would have leverage on the smaller nations that would be dependent on them. Just like the pipelines today. With people producing their own power, you gonna see a lot of independent people!! The hydrogen fuel cell revolution will come about before any fusion power plant comes online!! And many nations will have to find a different source of revenue. Hey hey.
