Engineering360: "CO2 chamber turns biodegradable plastic into foam"

Important words: nucleation, collection/separation. and foam density.
We can make foams from any plastic in many ways, but it needs to have appropriate density and be cost-competitive in its next market.
I am critical of biodegradables, as the products of degradation are often unknown and uncontrolled, and I prefer inert, nontoxic plastics (any of them), but the public thinks otherwise and that supports what has been done.
