Engineering360: "Video: Bio-manufactured hydrogen is golden"

This would be a good short term solution for economical hydrogen production. For long term, electrolysis must be used. And for that, cheap renewable green energy is required. With the current and near future increase in gas prices, hydrogen powered (fuel cell) vehicles may become competitive. Even if the cost per mile for hydrogen is more than gas, if the cost isn't too much greater, lots of people will use hydrogen because of it's greenness. Also, the fuel cell in the car can be used for other services.
