Engineering360: "Suction sails to propel chemical tanker"

I'd like to see some experimental data to support their claim of "produces six to seven times more lift than a conventional sail". Almost anything that helps reduce fossil fuel consumption is worth looking at.

But will it save money? 40% of the motive power sounds a little optimistic. Maybe while the vessel is idling into port? Seems hard to believe those four "sails" could generate that kind of force. Is there load cell data to corroborate those claims?
