Seems like fast charging obviates the need to swap batteries.

A swappable battery has volume and shape constraints necessary for easy replacement that is going to compromise the size/capacity of the battery.

You own the car, but rent the battery. Many people prefer ownership over rental costs.

Will you find a swapping station on that cross-country road trip?

Standardized battery packs between manufacturers?

Most charging stations are self-service. Swapping stations most likely not.

Hard to see this going beyond a very limited service area in limited applications, perhaps there is a fleet model such as police, taxi, city works, etc. that might work.
