The e-bikes and cars and most anything battery powered, still has a problem with fires that are difficult/impossible to extinguish. We need to work on solving that.

Absolutely—battery-related fire risk is the elephant in the room for everything from e-bikes to robot vacuums. Your basic high-quality h2o or fire foam won't always put it out. Early warning solutions that have been researched can't come soon enough.

I've seen enough videos that capture simple in home products with lithium ion batteries explode -- I am always unplugging them and placing them in more fire-safe locations.
