The really big Karst and conduit collapses begin deeper than 5 meters. Also, in high, but seasonally variable water table sandy soils, the geologically ancient or a nascent spodic layer above whatever is of interest below may confound the detection sensitivity, as would a lot of buried (ruderal) debris common in urban areas. Still, worth a shot.
