It seems they have teleported a photon-- not an atom.

Let's pause for a reality check. Millions of photons.... but only 911 positive results? I'm not so impressed by those results.

This is NOT teleportation !

The photons were sent to the satellite via normal propagation of light, nothing was teleported !

These were entangled twins, one photon sent one retained.

the twins mirrored each other through quantum entanglement a very old theory.

It can not be used for teleportation, it can however be used for communication if the photons can be manipulated without losing their entanglement.

this communication is secure, it can not be intercepted, it can not be disrupted, and it has no delay. The twin photon do have to be transported with the communication stations however. Sorry, there is NO teleportation here.
