This can be traced back to CIA disinformation from long ago. I believe this is maintained by shills and trolls that are paid to keep the poorly educated naïve public guessing about everything. I would say 80% of the new inventions, theories, and conspiracies on you-tube and the WEB are just BS. Chalk this one up to our education system and people that would rather watch sports and reality TV shows then pull out a book or watch a real research or discovery video and learn something new.

Well couldn't you just call people that were positioned around the globe and have them call you when they were seeing the sun rise? Marking the times and distance from your location would conclusively prove the Earth is round,,,ish....
