I studied Naval Architecture at USCGA. Upon graduation I served as a shipboard engineer on the USCGC JARVIS out of Honolulu, HI. I am now attending graduate school in Monterey, CA, working towards a Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

I played tuba in my high school marching and concert bands, as well as in a jazz band in college. While at graduate school, I am playing with a group made up of mostly faculty and staff, with a few students sprinkled in to make it legit...

I shot archery fairly regularly until I had a little run in with the local campus security... Don't worry, I didn't go to their school; I was just using their vacant field.
