Biography

Working Mechanical Engineer since 1992. Changed my avatar February 2010, day after the superbowl, from Falco / Der Kommisar. It was time to show where I got my namesake. :)

Updating Troy, NY trivia

Local-trivia connected to the flag: Troy, New York, my birthplace, has an incredible flag day parade every year, and Uncle Sam is buried in a cemetery within the city limits - I personally visited his grave back in '83 or so with an exchange-student friend from Germany. Well worth a visit if you're ever in Upstate.

DataRock 1.0

Joining TRS-80 fan-group as a shout-out to my friend's mom, Mrs. Alston, who was one of the first women - back in 1981 or so - that I knew studying TRS-80 programming at our local Guilderland, New York Radio Shack computer store. She passed recently, and along with other good memories, my friend and I were talking 300-baud modems and TRS-80 programming at her wake. :) Good times!
